Lighten The Foods You Eat

Lighten the foods you eat now.
Take inventory of the foods that you eat now and
choose lower fat versions. Switch from whole milk
to % or skim, use low fat cheese and try whole
wheat low fat crackers. Even these small changes
in the way that you eat can make a big
difference.

Make the best of your restaurant meals. A good
rule of thumb is to start with a large salad
without any dressing then you won't need to eat
as much of the more unhealthy main course. As
soon as you feel full during the main course,
stop eating and save the rest of the meal for
your next meal. If you must have dessert, offer
to split it with someone eating with you.
